Wörthsee-Wanderung Beeindruckende Naturlandschaften

Der Wörthsee, etwa 20 km westlich von München gelegen, zieht zu jeder Jahreszeit Erholungssuchende an. Neben zahlreichen schönen Badeplätzen gibt es bei der Rund- wanderung auch einige ursprünglich belas- sene Naturlandschaften zu entdecken. Die Tour um den See kann man am S-Bahnhof »Steinebach« beginnen. Ebenso wie die anderen Gewässer in Starn- bergAmmersee ist auch der Wörthsee nach Abschmelzen der Eiszeitgletscher vor rund 12.000 Jahren entstanden. Er ist knapp 4 km lang, etwa 1,7 km breit und bis zu 34 m tief. Weil fast gar keine Bäche in den See fließen, bleibt der Wörthsee weitgehend von den Resten landwirtschaftlicher Düngung verschont; seine Wasserqualität ist führend in der Region und beeindruckend für jeden Naturliebhaber. Besides numerous attractive swimming areas, there are also several pristine natural land- scapes to be discovered on a stroll around the lake. You can begin your walk at the »Steinebach« S-Bahn station. Like other lakes in the Starnberg- Ammersee region, Wörthsee was formed around 12,000 years ago, after the melting of the glaciers and is almost 4 km long, about 1.7 km wide and up to 34 m deep. Because there are hardly any streams that flow into the lake, it's relatively protec- ted; therefore, it has the best water quality in the region, a fact that will particularly impress nature lovers.
